Celebrating the Birth of Our Father, Savior, and Creator
Today is a special day for so many reasons. December 25th is the most important date of the year as it marks the birth of my father, savior, creator, healer, provider, confidant, and ruler of the entire universe. No matter what your faith or belief system is, today is an important day to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. (So, it is written) Can we take this time to reflect on how blessed we are to have Him in our lives and be thankful for all He has done for us as individuals and as a collective.
Christmas Day is a time for families to come together and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! This doesn’t just mean gathering around the dinner table or exchanging gifts - it means spending quality time with one another. It can be easy to get caught up in our own lives but taking time out of your day to appreciate those around you helps remind us all how important family & fellowship are. We should use this day as an opportunity to strengthen relationships with those closest to us – whether that be your blood relatives or your spiritual family at church – by sharing stories, giving hugs & kisses, playing games, watching movies, singing carols, eating delicious food, etc.
Christmas also provides us with an opportunity to give back in honor of Jesus’s birth. There are so many ways that we can give back – from volunteering at a local shelter or food bank to donating money or items to those who may be less fortunate than ourselves – it’s important that we use this opportunity to help others in need around us during this holiday season. Not only will it make us feel good but it will also bring joy into the lives of those who receive it!
On this Christmas Day, let us remember why we celebrate – celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! Let us use this day as an opportunity to express gratitude for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us such as health, wealth, joy, peace, etc. Let’s also take advantage of today by spending quality time with family & friends while engaging in meaningful conversations & activities. Most importantly let‘s remember what true Christmas spirit really means - having faith in God’s promises and unconditional love towards others! Merry Christmas everyone!!
